PUBLIC COURSES:

CUPE Ltd, hold ‘Public’ courses at various locations around the country.  At each course CUPE Ltd will use a suitable venue and will provide an APM Group Approved Trainer.  Pre-course reading materials will be supplied to each Delegate prior to the event.   Each course will have a maximum of 12 Practitioner delegates.

Booking Online:
Booking online does not guarantee a place on a course please wait for joining instructions from CUPE Ltd before booking accomodation or making travel arrangements.

 

Public Course Delegate Cancellation and Transfer Charges:
From the date of acknowledgement by CUPE Ltd, the cancellation charges for full price bookings are :-

Cancellation:
More than 28 days prior to the course start date:-         No Charge.
14-28 days prior to the course start date:-                       20% of the course cost.
7-14 days prior to the course start date:-                         50% of the course cost.
Within 7 days of the course start date:-                            100% of the course cost.

Transfer:
More than 28 days prior to the course start date:-         No Charge.
14-28 days prior to the course start date:-                       20% of the course cost.
7-14 days prior to the course start date:-                         50% of the course cost.
Within 7 days of the course start date:-                            100% of the course cost.

Trainer Approved Deferrals:
Free deferral for any days and exams not taken if agreed and/or advised by the trainer.  There are no refunds for accommodation when deferring to another course, additional accommodation will be charged if required.  Deferrals are to be taken within a maximum of 3 months from the original course date, unless otherwise agreed.

 

Special Offer & Discounted Bookings – Charges:
From the date of acknowledgement by CUPE Ltd, the cancellation charges for bookings are:-

Trainer Approved Deferrals:
Deferrals for any days not taken will be charged at £75 plus vat per day, exam/s not taken will be free.  Deferrals need to be agreed and/or advised by the trainer.  There are no refunds for accommodation when deferring to another course, additional accommodation will be charged if required.  Deferrals are to be taken within a maximum of 3 months from the original course date, unless otherwise agreed.

Practitioner Special Conditions:
Proceeding to Practitioner will only be permitted if the delegate has satisfactorily attended and completed the full course of Foundation study.  All Special Offer delegates must achieve a pass at Foundation of 45/70 to be allowed to proceed to Practitioner.  Refunds for accommodation or training are not given if delegates do not continue to Practitioner and further charges maybe incurred if further training is required.

 

 

CUPE TRAINING GUARANTEE:

This offer applies to delegates who have paid the full course price and satisfactory completed the full public course of study.  This offer is only applicable on non-residential Public courses and is available for both PRINCE2® Foundation and Practitioner Courses.  Conditions of this guarantee are that the delegate must book on to another course within one calendar month of receiving the results.  Accommodation will be charged if required.

  

 

SUPPORTED DISTANCE LEARNING PRODUCTS:

2009 Version Distance Learning products are valid for a 12 month period from the date of purchase.

Following the 12 month period, a replacement product may be purchased for 50% of the published price of the same product.

Following the 12 month validity period, replacement exams can be purchased at 100% of the published price.  All exams taken at a CUPE Venue must be booked a minimum of 2 weeks before the required date. Any changes made within 2 weeks of a pre booked exam date will be charged at £75 plus vat per change and no more than two changes will be permitted per delegate.

PRINCE2 Foundation & Practitioner exams can be taken at either a CUPE Public Course Venue, during a Public Course or at a APMG Venue or some British Council offices.  If alternative locations or venues are required for sitting these exams an additional charge may be required, please request a quotation prior to purchasing this package.

All purchases made online may be returned within 7 days of purchase for a full refund, less postage charges incurred.  Returned products must be in the condition that they were dispatched.  No other refunds on this product are applicable.

Delegates are responsible for purchasing any new / revised materials that may be required as a result of changes implemented by the APM Group.  Please refer to the APM Group Site for updated information on any impending changes which may affect your course.

 

APMG Terms & Conditions for Booking Exams at a British Council Office or APMG Venues:

All delegates who have attended training, typically in the form of an E-learning class or computer based training package and wish to take their exam at either a British Council office or APMG Venue, will be issued with a voucher to present at application & to take a copy to the examination at the British Council Office or APMG Venue. 

If the exam is to be taken outside of the UK, t
he email from CUPE Limited with the voucher should be forwarded by the delegate via email to the servicedesk@apmg-international.co.uk to register their interest to book an exam, detailing which Country and Town or British Council Office (if known) they would like to take their exam.   Following which an application form will be issued with details of available dates to appear to write the exam at a British council office where there is a presence.  APMG will ensure all email requests are resolved with 5 working days, however, where there are any delays, normally as a result of correspondences with the British Council offices and time zones, APMG will ensure to keep the delegate informed at all times.

 

All UK Exam arrangements will be carried out on behalf of the delegate by CUPE Limited.

 

Ideally interested delegates should provide at least 4 weeks’ notice of their intended exam date. 

  • You must arrive in good time - at least 30 minutes before the start time
  • You will need to bring your photo ID to the exam centre. Either a passport or photo driving license or national photo ID card will suffice. If you do not bring this with you on the day you will not be able to sit the examination
  • Please bring a PENCIL for writing your PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner exam. Please also bring an ERASER should any mistakes be made when writing your exam
  • No calculations will be necessary, so calculators are not required
  • For the Practitioner examination, your own annotated manual is permitted during the exam. NO additional support material is permitted, this includes post it notes (other than tabulation of the sections of the manual), or stapled sheets.
  • No late arrivals will be allowed into the exam room, all candidates are responsible for arriving at the exam on time and no excuses will be permitted. A further exam fee will be payable for a new exam booking if you are late.

Delegate Exam Rescheduling, Cancellation Terms & Conditions:-

  • You are allowed to reschedule the exam date once, at no additional cost, as long as the change is made a minimum of 10 working days (Monday to Friday excluding UK Bank Holidays) in advance of the booked exam date. If you reschedule the exam date a second time, an administration fee of £75 (plus UK VAT) will be charged
  • Exam bookings cannot be rescheduled within 10 working days of the booked exam date. A further exam fee will be payable for a new exam booking.
  • Your exam fee will not be refunded if you wish to cancel your booking. A further exam fee will be payable for a new exam booking
  • The exam cannot be transferred or re-sold to another party.


BLENDED LEARNING PRODUCTS:

Supported Distance Learning price, terms and conditions apply to PRINCE2® Foundation Supported Distance Learning Section of the product package and then the balance of total cost less distance learning and the Public Course Terms & Conditions apply to the PRINCE2® Practitioner section.

 

 

PROMOTIONAL VOUCHERS:

Promotion Vouchers can only be claimed for introducing a friend or a colleague directly to CUPE Ltd which results in the purchase of either a Public Course Place or Supported Distance Learning Package at the full retail price.  These vouchers are not offered on any discounted or special offer courses or bookings made through a 3rd party supplier / broker.

£50 Marks & Spencer’s Vouchers will be given for Public Course Place bookings.

£25 Marks & Spencer’s Vouchers will be given for Distance Learning Package bookings.

Vouchers will be sent once the full payment has been received and the course completed.

 


CORPORATE COURSES:

Where Delegates are required to be trained on-site, the Client may organize his/her own event using the venue of their choice.  The venue should be equipped with tables and chairs which can be arranged ‘U-shaped’ for training and ‘Classroom-style’ for the examinations.  The room should be equipped with A1 flip-chart or White-board.   Refreshment (Tea/Coffee) and Washroom facilities should be available nearby.

  • CUPE Ltd will deliver the course content as described in our quotation.
  • CUPE Ltd will provide pre-course reading materials prior to the commencement of the course.  These will be sent to the Clients Course Administrator when confirmation of a booking and payment method has been received.
  • Details of Delegates attending a course must be forwarded to CUPE Ltd at least 2 weeks prior to the commencement of the event.  Failure to do so could lead to the Delegates not being registered with the APM Group for Examinations.
  • CUPE Ltd reserve the right to cancel or discontinue the course if, in the Trainers opinion, the venue or conditions are unsuitable.
  • ALL materials supplied remain the property of CUPE Ltd until payment has been received in full.  Copyright exists on all materials supplied in any form.  Copying, transfer or storage by whatever means may only be performed with the express written permission of the Directors of CUPE Ltd.

Cancellation and Course Transfer Charges

Cancellation or Course Transfer Requests must be made either in writing or by e-mail to the Course Administrator.


From the date of acknowledgement by CUPE Ltd, the cancellation charges are:-

 

Cancellation & Transfer:
More than 6 weeks prior to the course start date:-             Any expenses incurred at cost.
2 weeks to 6 weeks prior to the course start date:-             50% of the course cost.
Within 2 weeks of the course start date:-                              100% of the full fee.

 

The cost of all course materials supplied will be charged.  Ownership of materials supplied will pass to the Client following payment of charges.

All certificates are sent by recorded delivery within the UK or airmail signed for overseas deliveries. Please ensure that that CUPE have your correct address when booking the courses and that we are notified immediately of any changes. Any certificates that are returned "uncollected" or "unable to deliver" or "incorrect address" will not be resent until a payment of £10 plus VAT has been paid to cover the additional postage, packaging and administration.

 

COPYRIGHTS:

Copyright and all intellectual property rights for all Course Materials shall remain the property of CUPE Ltd.   The Customer agrees not to reproduce, sell, hire or copy Course Materials (in whole or in part) and not to use such materials except for the purposes of post course reference.

PERSONAL BELONGINGS:

Personal belongings and items belonging to or in the possession of the Customer or Delegate brought on to CUPE Ltd training courses are the sole responsibility of the owner and CUPE Ltd accepts no responsibility for such items.

 

VAT:

All courses and VAT chargeable shop purchases will be charged using the current VAT rate of 20%.
